Clinical Assessment & Treatment Strategies
Course fee (includes test kit, bibliography and key-point summaries) is $180.
Course Benefits
This 6-part practical workshop by phone teleconference course is for those physicians (MD’s, DO’s, NP's, PA's, DC's and ND’s) who want:
a) An extremely practical, sensitive, reliable and useful tool to deepen their understanding of their patient’s stress physiology
b) New strategies for improving chronic health problems
c) To motivate their patients and improve compliance
d) To objectively detect relapse and assess treatment response
e) An expedient way of learning
Applied Learning
This 6 one-hour session teleconference course is a wonderful addition to any type of non-surgical practice that deals with chronic illnesses (from depression to allergy to autoimmunity to cardiovascular disease to diabetes and osteoporosis). You will learn how to assess and treat HPA axis dysregulation present in so many psychiatric and chronic illnesses.
Test the Test
The course is ‘hands-on’. You will be given an adrenal cortisol test free of charge as part of the course, which you can perform on yourself or a patient. There are specific action steps you will be instructed to take at specific times (Paced Learning Method ™). The course dates are designed to match the timing of your clinical progress in the use of the adrenal axis assessment.
Theory and Utilization
Unlike any other training program or conference we are aware of, this course provides comprehensive instruction on the relevant scientific theory as well as step-by-step instruction on the utilization of this tool in day-to-day practice, including practical details (e.g., information on choosing a lab to work with, how to discuss the test with your patient, setting up a contract, etc.)
